Responsible for working with clients to plan, manage, design and supervise the
installation of
electronic
security enhancements and command and control
projects.
Will coordinate with other staff
field
engineers as needed to design, integrate and install Electronic Access Control,
Communications,
and Intrusion Detection systems.
Responsible for development of
Installation Design Plans, Bills of Material, and costing the associated
installation efforts.
Travel and on-site engineering support for installation efforts may be required.
Will be involved with some or all of the following general job activities:
REQUIRED EDUCATION/SKILLS:
A Bachelors degree in Electrical or Computer
Engineering is required. Four years experience with similar tasks
required. Experience with electronic physical security systems required.
Ten years of experience overseeing installations and performing surveys and
designs of electronic security projects may be substituted for the Bachelor’s
degree.
DESIRED SKILLS: Should be able to work with various types of engineering drawings, including block diagrams, wiring diagrams, and power flow diagrams. Familiarity with AutoCAD desired. Should be able to write clearly and concisely to produce a variety of engineering planning documentation and reports. Should be able to communicate well with persons at all levels of the engineering process, from technicians to senior customer staff.
