FIELD ENGINEER
Will be responsible for performing customer support activities involving the
installation, modification and repair of complex equipment and systems. Will
oversee and direct onsite installation and testing of equipment to ensure proper
working order; isolate equipment start-up malfunctions; take corrective action.
May be required to make technical presentations. Train customer personnel in
equipment operation and maintenance responsibilities. Represent the company in a
customer support role and be responsible for customer's satisfaction with
equipment and servicing. Will establish and recommend changes to policies which
affect subordinate organization(s). Work on extremely complex problems.
Regularly interact with senior or executive management on matters concerning
several functional areas, divisions, and/or customers.
May do lower level systems design work.
REQUIRED EDUCATION/SKILLS:
Associate degree from an accredited college or university or a graduate of
military basic and advanced electronics or communication technician courses and
10+ years related experience.
Applicant must be eligible for, or able to obtain, the appropriate clearance
required for this position. US Citizenship required.
DESIRED SKILLS: 10+ years of field experience in support of electronic systems installation, test, acceptance and maintenance of the following systems: Access Control (LENEL, Cardkey and/or AMAG), CCTV (Pelco, Ganz, FLIR), Mass Notification Systems (Madahcom/Federal Signal), ROC/EOC systems, or other Physical Security Systems.
