Naval Fleet Communications & Manufacturing
In 1985, MANDEX established a specialized capability in electronics manufacturing assembly, integration, and test, enabling us to prototype and manufacture complex electronics devices in support of our Test Program Set (TPS) development and Fleet Communication Systems Integration capabilities. MANDEX provides the ability to meet customers’ requirements with minimum risk, demonstrated by successful performance on more than $50 million in electronics manufacturing contracts since 1985. We have the plans, processes, and automated systems in place and implemented to meet Department of Defense (DoD) requirements for quality, purchasing, accounting, configuration management, cost/schedule control, and related functions, such as a vendor selection and qualification process that provides us with companies we know will deliver on-time and to-specification at competitive prices. Our quality assurance program is fully qualified to MIL-I-45208 and, although we are not currently ISO 9002 certified, our standard practices and procedures meet the intent of ISO 9002. In accordance with customer specifications, many products we have manufactured have passed either full military environmental and Electromagnetic Interference (EMI) qualification processes, or Environmental Stress Screening (ESS).
