Imagery System Services
MANDEX provides support to SPAWAR's Global Command and Control - Maritime (GCCS-M), DISA's GCCS, and ONI's Joint Deployable Intelligence Support System (JDISS). MANDEX software analysts and systems engineering technicians work with various elements of the National Maritime Intelligence Environment (NMIE). They provide developmental test and deployment support to the joint military services for C4I systems. We assess digital imaging and computer technologies, perform hardware integration and test, installation, and user training. We provide software development and configuration management services, and perform IV&V services. MANDEX has conducted studies of digital imagery COTS NDI alternatives for GCCS system upgrades.
MANDEX conducted software development and integration for the JMCIS imagery upgrade involving the migration of software and peripheral devices from DOS to an HP730/750 operating under HP-UX with X-windows. MANDEX developed the concept and design for the imagery files server (IDEX-II) and interface for the HP750 workstation. Our analysts conducted development and integration of client server applications for imagery and intelligence data in HP-UNIX, C4I, GUI environment and completed the Integration of JDISS 2.0 software in Sun OS, Solaris, and HPUX environments. Development and conversion to the Windows NT environment is now underway.
MANDEX JDISS support includes Independent Verification and validation of the entire suite of applications for Office of Naval Intelligence program office. Our analysts conduct functional testing record test results and work with the developers in resolving system performance and enhancements problems.
